The grass is always greener on the other side.

Assalamualaikum Silent reader(s) ;-)

It is true, fixing broken strings won't make the string look the same as before,
but, if we look onto it in a different perspective, the knot is what made the strings
stronger than ever. Masha Allah.

Metaphorically speaking, broken strings can be seen as
'broken relationships' ; family, friends, etc.

Fixing a broken relationship might not take us back to where we were before,
however, it does make the relationship stronger than ever :D

Whenever we sense any of our relationship seems to dismantle, fix it QUICK
and never leave it to the last minute :)

We are one big family, One Ummah.

Only the real ones stay;

Assalamualaikum Silent reader(s) ;-)

There are some people who enter your life like gems.
These are the real diamonds.
They have no ulterior motives, no inferiority complex,
no superiority complex, no need to prove that they are better than you,
or seek to have more than you.
They don’t feel entitled and aren’t needy or dependent.
They are not superficial or fake.
They remind you of God and they understand you, when no other person does.
They don’t wear a mask with you or pretend to be perfect.
They are just real with you and honestly and sincerely only want good for you.
You feel you can tell them anything without worrying
that they will judge you or put you down for being imperfect.
They know your flaws, but love you anyway. And they are loyal.
You know they’ll be there for you. They'll always have your back.
And best of all, time and distance doesn’t change this.
If you’ve met even one person in your entire life like this, you’re blessed.

"- -Yasmin Mogahed

Have you met this kind of person in your entire life?
Alhamdulillah, throughout my entire life.. Ive met these kind of people..
and I am very thankful for having them in my life,
and I pray to Allah that my relationship with them will be till Jannah,
Insha Allah :)

What is Beauty?

Assalamualaikum Silent reader(s) ;-)

Beauty. Some people don’t even recognise beauty

when it’s right in front of them.
They can walk through a sunset

or a brilliant forest of orange trees, and not even notice.

Other people see beauty and do appreciate it.
They will stop and take it in.
They may even feel overwhelmed by it. But it ends there.
That person is like the one who appreciates art,
but never inquires about the artist.
The artwork itself was intended to communicate a message from the artist;
but if the art lover loses himself in the painting
- but never sees the message, that artwork hasn’t fulfilled its true purpose.
The purpose of the glorious sun,
 first fallen snow,
crescent moons
and breathtaking oceans
is not to decorate this lonely planet.
The purpose is far deeper than that.

Guard Your Heart.

Don’t think for a moment that your heart is ‘strong’.
The heart is a vulnerable fool.
It turns more easily than you turn your head.
That’s why its called ‘qalb’ (that which turns).
Protect it with layer upon layer of guards.
And the only guard is the *consistent* remembrance of God. "

I like people and I like them to like me,
but I wear my heart where God put it, on the inside."

Assalamualaikum Silent reader(s) ;-)

Time for solitude. God, I ask you to remake my heart.
Fill it with what You love.
Remove from it what You don’t.
And mend what I’ve broken.

Aamiin Ya Rabb

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
' Wear your heart on your sleeve '

In a good view, it represents that your honest
and willing to open your heart to that person.
But its also a bad thing,
because you can easily have your heart broken
and be hurt emotionally.

I am someone who wears my heart inside,
I am not saying that I am not honest to people,
but I think it is best to keep most of the things inside,
and ask for God to remake your heart :)

Some might say that I am weak, a coward, for not
standing up for myself, for not saying things that people
deserve to hear from me, but no, I don't see myself as one.
I play things wisely, and I think it is wise to play mute
once in a while ;)

Once people know the condition of your heart,
you are in deeeeeeep trouble bro/sis.
Why? They might use it against you.

Metaphorically speaking, our heart is like a glass;
transparent & easily broken.
This means that by wearing your heart on your sleeve
ain't a great idea my friend.

In order to 'upgrade' our heart, fill it with the remembrance of God,
because by the remembrance of God is when our heart functions best ;)
For instance, you come across someone you have issues with from the past,
at first the only thing that you'll feel is hatred. But by remembering God,
your heart wouldn't feel anything other than.........goodness :)
