"Stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself.
– Life’s curve balls are thrown for a reason –
to shift your path in a direction that is meant for you.
You may not see or understand everything the moment it happens,
and it may be tough.
But reflect back on those negative curve balls
thrown at you in the past.
You’ll often see that eventually they led you to a better place,
person, state of mind, or situation.
So smile! Let everyone know that today you are a lot stronger
than you were yesterday, and you will be."
Assalamualaikum Silent reader(s) ;-)
It has been a long time since I actually post something.
Been really busy with Uni life.
Ive just started my semester break after having exams.
It feels so good to be free again. The feeling of not having any work to do.
NICEE :)
To be honest, Im way past my bedtime tonight.
But I feel like blogging so yea here I am... like i always do..
whenever I can't really sleep.
I couldnt believe that Ive finished my Semester 1 of Year 1.
Time flies so quickly.
Frankly, I struggled every single day trying to survive Sem 1.
and yeah, it was hard.
Keeping up with everything. Work piles up every day.
I guess thats what you get as a Med Student.
And I do believe that the other First Year students from other courses
feel the same way. Am I right?
The exams were kind of a downer.... honestly idk if the results will
be pretty. Hopefully i'll pass. and everyone aswell.
Anyhoooo... Ive got some advise for people who is reading my blog atm
(if there is any) who are deciding to do Medicine.
1) Be very sure that you wanted to do the course. Don't let anyone influence you.
2) You will cry while doing the revision because the things that you need to revise.. is alot!
(and it is ok to cry) And work extra extra extra hard!
3) You will definitely break down, even if only once, cus of the pressure and everything.
4) You are required to be strong. Stronger than before. Mentally strong.
5) Lastly.. dont be surprised if you see alot of "WHAT THE #$%^" questions on the exam papers.
Most of the questions that came out... are not the ones that I've revised for. And there are alot of medical terms
that were never even mentioned during the lectures. So pls pls pls be very familiar of the terms.
Soooo did I scared you yet.... future med students? Haha kidding :P
This advise doesn't necessarily apply only to med students....... :)
Choose wisely. ;)

Quotes I Read at 21:29
Bukan hati,
Tapi iman.
----------------------------------------------------
"Kita ni kadang Solat tak jaga,
Al-Quran malas baca,
akhlak buruk,
tak peduli orang lain.
mengapa hidup tak tenang,
rasa tak bermakna,
rasa Tuhan tidak pedulikan kita.
Dia dah kata, Dia dah janji.
Allah itu tidak pernah memungkiri janjiNya.
Kemudian kita merungut dengan kehidupan kita yang berserabut?"
Maybe she’s just taking things one day at a time.
Maybe she laughs and maybe she cries.
Maybe you would be surprised by everything she keeps inside…
Maybe she is more than the skin she is in.
Maybe we should start learning how to love what’s within.
Maybe God only knows all the places she has been.
But maybe she comes back to Him again and again.
Maybe she’s not afraid to die, just not afraid to live.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to please You, and You alone. I know that if I make You happy, oh Allah, then everything else will always fall into place.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The world is beautiful and has many attractions, the world has many things to offer,
but in the end, the world is very empty.
It will not be enough for you.
Your soul is too large for that.
Therefore, always remember Allah at the beginning of every thing.

The Forgotten Language
SMILE.
Let everyone know that today,
you're a lot stronger than you were yesterday.
Assalamualaikum Silent reader(s) ;-)
I have a few questions for starters.
1) Do you smile at strangers?
2) How often do you smile at strangers?
3) How often do you smile at your friends/families?
Me? USED TO. Most of the time.
USED TO. To even admit it hurts me to the core.
heh :-(
A smile can mean a lot of things. For instance:
short smile : 'Hi'
wide smile: ' Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! X) '
Smiling is contagious. It is seen as a charity, Islamically.
Why? You are giving a happy part of you to another sister/brother who
might be suffering from something or is having a bad day. :)
However...........
Lately, I seemed to forget to smile. I even forgot HOW to.
Sometimes, we need people to remind us (not literally) about this silent language.
We certainly need at least someone to remind us how to smile.
They might not know, its just that their actions are so natural,
that everytime you talk to them,
either via face-to-face or just on the phone,
you just feel happiness being transferred at you, without even realising.
Contentment, on the other hand, can only be achieved by ourselves.
* There is a big difference between happiness and contentment
Only when you have a heart full of contentment, only then, you'll
manage to actually feel the happiness that was transferred to you.
Only then, will you live a happy life.
A life full of smiles. Not fake ones. Real ones.
A life which constantly reminds you to smile and how to,even when the chips are down.
A life full of acceptance and letting go, in which we accept everything,
the good and the bad because we know He knows best.
Alhamdulillah for the good, the bad, the past, the present, the future.
*smiles*
